veteran help

We meet one on one in session utilizing Equine-assisted and nature-based activities to help you improve sleep, manage anger, and have great relationships.

What to expect

What to expect for an individual session. It involves some paperwork and looking at your goals.  Sessions are 60 minutes at the farm. Riding is not required but recommended. We can do a more traditional talk session on the front porch, pavilion, or in the office. We also can have session at the creek.

Group Dates:

New group starts March 2024, Thursday evenings

1800-1930

registration required

At first, the idea of participating in group sessions might seem intimidating. Who wants to share their story with strangers? Equine assisted group is facilitated by Trauma Recovery Coach, with 5 to 10 participants, a certified Equine Specialist (ES), 1-2 ES Volunteers, and 3 or more horses. The team structure can be very beneficial. In fact, participants are often surprised by how rewarding their experience in group can be.  The group meets for 1 hour and 30 minutes. All sessions are held outside at the farm, weather permitting. Our groups are closed, which means you must join the group from the start date, you can not join after the group has started.
