Put in the Work
You Served. You Know What It Means to Have Each Other’s Back.
Coming home can change things in ways you never expected. The mission ends, but the stress, anger, memories, relationship struggles, isolation, or feeling that something is missing may not.
Operation Battle Horse is a place for veteran men to step away from everyday demands and spend time with other men who understand.
This isn’t about sitting in a room being told what you should do. It’s about getting outside, working alongside other veterans, having real conversations, and learning practical ways to handle the things that can make life after service difficult.
You don’t have to have a crisis. You don’t have to tell your story. And you don’t have to have the right words.
Maybe you’re struggling in your marriage. Maybe you’re having a harder time with anger than you’d like. Maybe you’ve lost your sense of purpose. Maybe you’re doing fine on the outside but know something isn’t quite right.
Whatever brought you here, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
At Walk With Me Healing Steps, veterans come together in an environment where they can lower their guard, build genuine connections, and experience something different from the everyday routine. The horses and the farm become part of the experience—not because you need to know anything about horses, but because they provide opportunities to slow down, pay attention, communicate differently, and see yourself and your relationships from a new perspective.
This Workshop Is For You If…
You want to connect with other veteran men who understand where you’ve been.
You’re trying to strengthen your marriage or relationships.
Anger, stress, anxiety, or frustration are affecting your life.
You’re struggling with the transition from military life to civilian life.
You’ve lost some of your sense of purpose or direction.
You spend a lot of time taking care of everyone else and rarely have space for yourself.
You simply know that something needs to change.
You Don’t Have to Do This Alone
There is strength in knowing you aren’t the only one.
Operation Battle Horse gives veteran’s the opportunity reconnect with themselves and others, and take a look at what comes next.
You’ve served your country. You’ve been there for others.
Now give yourself permission to take a step for you.

Level One – March 12, 13, 14, 2027 Men
Thank you for putting on such an amazing workshop! I am so glad that I decided to swallow my pride and agree to try WWM when my wife mentioned you guys and your program. I didn’t realize how much I needed this weekend but was a huge stepping stone for me. I had a great time and learned so much. From looking at things differently with different perspectives to great fellowship/team building with the guys. I appreciate you calling me out when I didn’t know my next move working with Twister. I was asked if I chose the wrong horse, and no I don’t think I did. I needed the humbleness and even though we hate humiliation, I learned from that. I didn’t want to try the round pen the second time bc I was called out the first time, but it opened my eyes more to correct, or work on correcting what I was doing wrong. I will learn round penning and won’t stop until I get it. I didn’t realize how hard that was bc you make it look so easy. Don’t want to go on and on, but wanted you to know I appreciate you and the whole team for everything you do there. Again, I didn’t realize how much I needed OBH and this weekend!

What Can Three Days Really Change?
You may not leave with every problem solved—and that’s not the goal.
The goal is to give you three days away from the noise, responsibilities, and routines of everyday life to slow down, connect with other veterans, and take an honest look at what is working in your life and what isn’t.
During the workshop, you’ll have opportunities to:
Connect — Spend time with other veterans in an environment where you don’t have to explain everything you’ve experienced.
Get Outside Your Head — Hands-on activities with horses and on the farm give you a chance to experience something different and pay attention to how you respond under pressure, frustration, uncertainty, and connection.
Have Real Conversations — Talk about the things that can be difficult to talk about at home—relationships, anger, purpose, communication, family, and life after service.
Learn Practical Tools — Walk away with strategies you can actually use when stress builds, communication breaks down, or emotions begin taking over.
Build Your Network — One of the most valuable things you can take home may be the relationships you build with the men beside you. Sometimes knowing who you can call makes all the difference.
You Don’t Have to Come Here Because You’re Falling Apart.
You can come because you want your marriage to be stronger.
Because you want to be more present with your kids.
Because you’re tired of carrying everything yourself.
Because you want to understand what’s happening when anger takes over.
Because you’re looking for direction.
Or simply because you know there’s more to life after service and you’re ready to figure out what that looks like.
Three days won’t change everything. But three days can change the direction you’re heading.
We want to be upfront: this workshop isn’t a vacation. It’s an opportunity for veterans to roll up their sleeves and engage in meaningful work towards personal growth. Change doesn’t happen by simply wanting things to be different. It takes action, effort, and commitment. You’ve spent your life knowing what it means to show up and do the work. We’ll be there beside you as you take that same determination into this next chapter.
You’ve spent your life answering the call when someone else needed you.
Maybe it’s time to answer a different call—the one telling you it’s okay to take care of yourself, too.
Join us for Operation Battle Horse.
Come spend three days with men who understand. Get outside. Talk honestly. Learn something about yourself. Build connections that can continue long after you leave the farm.
You don’t have to know exactly what you need. You just have to be willing to take the first step.
